The Hebard Cypress Saw Mill

The Hebard Cypress Saw Mill is very unusual looking.  Kind of modern in fact.  It has been very hard to find photos of this mill.  I intend to construct an O scale version for the layout.

  1. Some of the original steel-reinforced concrete buildings still exists just north of Waycross. So does the original water tower/tank and part of the original roadbed for the "Y." It is owned by a company called Strickland & Arnold, Inc.

    1. Hi! I was trying to figure out where the old mill would have been. Is that the Satilla River in the foreground of the postcard? Do you have a nearest street address? Thanks so much!
